I'm excited to sya I'm finally working on FansRite again - If you can see this posting it is working as intended! :3

I've been working with object-oriented coding to make my flat-file blogging system work as it should.. and its going well! I don't need to hardbake dates anymore into jsons, and I even have the page parsing system baked in too!

Site Rehab Proccess

I'm happy to say that the site is almost 90% back up to form! There's still some things I need to patch up and images to find, as well as some credits and dedications to rewrite. The following pages will need some TLC:

• About Me : My about me became a stand alone site, since I felt tha this is a Fan Archive, not an Abotu Me archive, so I oved that to its own /me/ section of E-A. The issue is that got completely wiped from the rollback, so I had to re-upload what I had still on my backups. I'm still missing a lot of images there
• History: The Past, Pixels : I just need to fix images here!
• Credits and Dedications: This is one of the few pages that got completely wiped, and I have no backup for. I have to retype everything on that page lol! Man
• IMAGINEYOUR.SITE : My 2025 version was completely wiped, so I'll have to just rewrite it.
• Page Shrines for Jamie Paige, Machina x Flayon, Yuno Hanaki - All these pages I was working on were wiped, augh!!! I was almost done with the spider-mapping of all of Jamie Paige's song references... My notes are still alive, though!
• Essays : ... All the essays I uploaded and archived are wiped -w- May OneNote be kind to me

All in all it should be mostly restored to its previous state... so allow me to re-introduce the theme!

About the Theme

This theme is based of of Lorenna "Lena" Nightingale, a character/avatar I run around as in SecondLife. She's cute as a button and adorned in lace, frills, and cotton - everything a Doll needs! She wears Harajaku Lolita/Elegant Goth Lolita, Jirai Kei, Gyaru... anything that's frilly, elegant, and dressy is her way to go. She has ears like Chii, Ball-Joints for articulation, and a key on her back to get her running. She's adorable! She's precious! She's been my muse for over 2 years now.

The picture in the header is a screenshot from SecondLife itself, and all of the pixel assets in this layout were made by me in Aesprite to complement Lena's cuteness. Even the lace borders, lantern backgrounds, and hand-drawn error and shelf pages were done in that too.

All of this was done in 6 hours after moving out from an apartment I was living in with friends and visitng my partners for the frist time. When I got back to my "new" living situation, I immedietely coded this layout out of the happiness an joy of meeting my partners and the stress of where I had to live. I'm glad to say I'm out of there now and with my partners permanently.

To brighter futures

I'm building a life i'm excited to live for... I will continue to live- not just for my partners, not only to see what tomarrow brings- but to spite those who would rather see me suffer or not exist at all. Times are fustrating right now, because I have yet to find a job (and I know I will not find one as great as the one I had before having to come here) but everything will be ok. It has to be.

If there was anything that would cause me to panic.. it would be this.

Namecheap imploded my hosting back by 2 years in March(?), and its been a hectic ride trying to recover everything that was lost, all of the cron job backups included! You heard me right. My site is supposedly supposed to backup itself every month.. and namecheap deleted all of those too :^) Lucky me, I made a backup of my silver laptop before I handed it over to my niece last September... and somethings are on another laptop that won't turn on cause the battery bios is dead... so It'll take juuuust a little longer.

In personal news: I just upended and moved 2000 miles away from where I've lived my whole life... I also moved Solace all the way from Miami up here with me- and thus Andi, Solace, and I are all together in the PNW! Yay! It's nice and chilly up here.

I'll make a more formal update once I get things settled. For now I'll catch you laters... Bye!

I'm planning on making the whole site's architexture work this way... and hopefully use it on my own fansites before finally making it public.

if you're here, please check out jamie paige's music. I really love her sound and vibes and honestly, its one of the few things that gives me any creative passion these days. I got to see her live last year along with oddeeo and creep-p at digital stars. there are no secrets.

Oh wow, an update? finally! Its been too long! ... But nothing really updated. This is more of a check in post (hi mom!)

I had moved back in April and life became a jumble since then- I ended up losing the majority of my code for FanRite due to a hard drive failure on my laptop... (I should have been sending it to Git but unfortunately I just didn't think about it at the time. big mistake T_T) I haven't had time to pursue any creative.. well, anything? lately. I even got covid again, ahah- but this time I was knocked out thru most of it. We're still kickin tho!

Things messed around with:

• ~~~ OPTIMIZATION ~~~ - You'll notice some things load faster. I learned how to make thumbnails with php :3
• hanamaki32.life - This is prolly the biggest one, my Second Life blog. I made this back in May after tumblr banned my blog for having transgender pride in it. Trans rights baby! .. I just haven't updated it since June though........
• atelier.quest - Now links to a carrd instead of my tumblr. I accidentally let the renewal lapse for a day and tumblr wants $5 for a domain name link. Due to what happened in the above, no :3
• Wallpapers - Added more of the OG Ragnarok Online wallpapers to the Wallpapers area. Some of these are no longer displayed on Gravity's IRO site for some reason. But having a hyper fixation on RO helps out sometimes :3 There are other misc wallpapers added too.
• Galleries - I added some real life pictures and silly screenshots and other things I enjoy. Hope you enjoy them too
• Archive[list]
  • Videos Archive Added backups of some videos I found funny to the folder.
  • Midi Song Collection - yeah!!!!!!
  • Homura Shrine with the code I used for a tumblr layout 10 years ago.
  • Wadanohara Art archive. As it says on the tin. I have a shitton of countless tumblr fanart for the series, so its going in here. This archive will not be public because I don't have any credit for the art I saved. Thank you 2014 phone backups.
• My Art - Uploaded backups of all my youtube videos after 2009. I still have lost generally a lot of videos between 2007-2008 though :(

  Plans I have:

=> I may be making an otwarchive subdomain on here for my fanworks and for others i would like to invite to host their works worry free. AO3 is getting hit with DNS attack again and my worry is they may eventually fall out because I will be brutally honest: were "in a society" (lol) that is so based around consumption now that you have to have pure ethics on what you consume. I have a whole opinion on it but I'll leave it at that for now.

=> Another thing I want to do, and its a really, really big project- Is to start archiving lesser known VOCALOID music and MikuMikuDance content. The deviantart spaces are dying and there really are no backups- a but of a failure on my part but also because a whole whopping 200GB of my own MMD files were wiped back when my first hard drive failed. I'm still upset about it bc I had an extensive directory of it all.. sighs.

=> Lastly, I want to do something a little nuts- I want to become my own Manga/JNovel Licensor. I say this because there are a lot of Japanese Light Novels that I enjoy that are probably to never be considered outside Japan but.. I want to try it. I want to use real translators too, none of the Machine TL'd bs that's been happening lately, and I want it to be completely faithful to the material. I honestly don't know How it works- I'm currently researching it. I don't even have a definitive name for it yet... but we'll get there
